On a Creative Journey, you're taken on a guided visualisation to explore your inner feelings and express them freely, without judgement, through intuitive painting or drawing. You'll also do wonderful, simple toning techniques for your voice and let rip on ethin drums or gently get into light percussion instruments, like bells or marakas etc. GREAT FUN AND GOOD FOR YOU!

Robert's solo concerts
Robert's solo concert's take you on a deep journey, allowing you to feel supported in your personal process. Audiences in Russia, Greece and England have responded with similar experiences of feeling healed, deeply moved… or taken on a flight to another place where they felt peace and beauty.
His forthcoming concertINNER JOURNEY on 21st April, will be held in a special venue known as The Loft, in Crouch End, North London. As a music venue, The Loft benefits from the initimacy of being a private residence and the quality of keen music lovers in the audiences who frequent this 'salon' style venue.

During the '90's, Robert was very active in the British soul scene playing keyboards for Noel McKoy, leading UK soul singer, at the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scotts, the Purcell Room, the Brixton Academy, the Jazz Café and the Jazz World Stage at Glastonbury Festival and on Radio 1, Radio 4, GLR and Kiss FM.
Robert has also worked with a variety of artists such as Mica Paris, Omar, Lynden David Hall, Carleen Anderson and Prince Sampson (who works with Des'ree). Robert also appeared on national French TV with China Black, supporting Barry White.

Solo career
Robert's solo career began with his first album "Painting the Ocean" released in 1997, which opened the door for him to play solo piano and keyboards at seminars for personal development, such as the Happiness Project, Miracle Network and also for services at the Interfaith Seminary.
In October 2003, Robert was invited by the Ecological Centre of Peace in Moscow, to perform in concert and facilitate creative seminars involving voice and percussion. His popularity in Moscow led him to visit Russia 3 more times, where he performed Solo Piano, Voice and Percussion live in concert at the Roerich Museum and EcoCentre Svet in Moscow and at the House of Composers in St Petersburg.
Since Autumn 2003, Robert has toured Russia, performing Solo Piano, Voice and Percussion Concerts. His concerts delighted audiences at the Roerich Museum and EcoCentre Svet in Moscow and at the House of Composers in St Petersburg.
Left: April 2005. Robert was honoured with the rare opportunity of playing on the piano which Tchaikovsky first learnt on, when he was six years old.
In April 2005, Robert was invited by Svetlana Smirnova, Member of the State Duma for the region of Udmurtia and member of the Cultural and Regional Affairs Commitee, to perform Solo Piano at the Main Theatre in Izjevsk as part of a new Arts Festival.

Creative Journeys
For the past two years, Robert has been working with Helen Allen, facilitating Creative Journeys, which are fun and dynamic sessions where you explore your creativity in a safe space.
Using percussion, vocal exercises, guided visualisation and intuitive painting, you are guided to your feelings and encouraged to express them without judgement.
The next Creative Journey session will be held every Sunday in Finchley, North London where it will be held in an intimate setting surrounded by trees and a village green.
11am-5pm every Sunday

Earlier Years
Robert is a natural musician who studied classical piano froman early age, winning a music scholarship to Wellington College at the age of twelve.
Robert went to boarding school at the age of seven, where his emotional world became centred around playing the piano. Although he had classical training, his yearning to express his truest feelings broke through when, in 1970, at the age of nine, he began to improvise. At 16, he attended the Purcell School of Music and completed his formal training, attaining a BA(Hons.) degree in Performing Arts at Trent Park, Middlesex University.
Since then his piano playing has taken him, and many others, on deeply emotional and spiritual journeys.
