About Robert Norton

Robert has more than 20 years experience in playing live music for personal transformation. Improvising at the piano from an early age, Robert developed a remarkable language of self reflection in his music.
Inspirational Musician
Robert's solo career began with his first album "Painting the Ocean" released in 1997. This opened the door for him to play solo piano and keyboards at personal development seminars such as the Happiness Project, run by leading psychologist, Robert Holden (Ph.D.).
Concerts and performances
Between 2003-5, Robert toured Russia four times. His concerts featured piano, voice and drums, and delighted audiences at historic venues such as the Roerich Museum in Moscow and the House of Composers in St Petersburg.
In the UK, Robert was very active in the British soul scene during the ‘90s. He also has performed at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Jazz Café Ronnie Scotts, and the Purcell Room. Robert has also worked with a variety of artists on Radio 1 and 4, GLR, Kiss FM and on national French TV supporting Barry White.
In 2009, Robert joined Curved Air, a pioneering band from the early 70’s. On their UK tour, he was described as “exceptional” by award-winning magazine, The Word.
Overtone singing
Robert has been facilitating vocal toning sessions at workshops in Russia, Greece and the UK since 2003.
